I am a Ph.D. candidate at the University of California, Irvine in the graduate program in Sociology and a UC President's Dissertation Year Fellow. My research interests include race/ethnicity, family, and inequality. My work has appeared in American Behavioral Scientist and in The Annals of the American Academy of Political and Social Sciences.
Prior to attending UC Irvine, I received my B.A. from the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, where I was a McNair Scholar.
